How common is this?

You are in the midst of a great ranked game, you just scored a kill now you spam you skill to wave clear and b, but then, your W doesn't go off! You try again, and nothing, frantic, you spam skill only to find a "Attempting to Connect" message across your screen.

No fear, you exit as quickly as possible to re-log in hopes you only missed a few cs. Sign in, but nothing, no game exists, no match history record, where is this game?? Better question, where is win?
