Zed's counter play is the equivalent of cutting off my legs for charity

Zed is a real problem, that if he's not banned he roflstomps your entire team by placing shadow on you, Ring, and if he misses just flash next to you, ignite and your dead. You can only escape by flashing and even then he still does an assload of damage to you forcing you to back. Even worse is when he's playing with ekko, and vayne, who are also the sweatiest champs in the game. It's basically this way because the balance team does not care at all about you. There's not a mistake when you design a character that way. They seriously despise their player base to continue to this extreme.
