Remove division rankings and lp

I see alot of people complaining about promotions, and i think the best solutions is to just remove lp all together

The bronze, silver, gold and whatever category should be completely removed, and match people based on MMR, which is already done. This removes, the anxiety of promotions, or your lp lagging behind your mmr, and feeling you aren't deserving of your lower standing.

At the end of season they can designate the border colour for elo. So silver being 1250- 1450 and gold being 1500+, i feel my numbers are off, but you get the point.

I think there are other solutions that don't involve removing everything and turning the game into 5v5 wow arenas.

You went too far with the idea.

Maybe if they just remove promos until plat. As soon as you get 100 LP you just get promoted. If you fall under 0 you get demoted.

I don't really think there is a need for it, but it's a more reasonable spin on your idea.

I don't know if I'd go as far as no promos until Plat, but maybe no promos until you are about to move from Silver->Gold. Once you hit 100 LP at Silver 3 you'd automatically be bumped up to Silver 2. Once you hit 100 LP at Silver 1 you go into the Bo5 promos to get to Gold 5.

I was just putting a spin on it. But yeah. That would be even more reasonable.
