So about the PBE Rengar buffs...

Hello, I posted this thread a while ago:

It seems like Riot removed the duration buffs on Rengars ultimate, but kept the reduced cooldown buff on his ultimate. Rengar is now at 50.57% winrate in jungle, WHY ON EARTH DO YOU WANT TO BUFF HIM? Source: https://lolalytics.com/ranked/worldwide/current/platinum/plus/champion/Rengar/Jungle/

I know they are supposed to be compensation buffs for the "duskblade nerf" (lol), but as a longtime Rengar player since season 5, I can safely say he does not need buffs or nerfs, but he could use some indirect nerfs. He is simply too strong right now, when even the average players are performing well on him although Rengar is a high-skill cap champion. Believe it or not.

Just please think twice about this, I guarantee you if this goes through he will become too strong, and I mean really freaking strong. And I doubt anyone wants that. So, I beg you Riot. Please wait with these buffs and see how the PBE changes affect him before you give him any buffs.

Absolute madness.

I dunno, i certainly think that rengar isn't all too broken and that he needs these buffs. I mean, it takes an entire .3 seconds for him to kill me from stealth if he's even remotely ahead. Clearly he needs to do it in at least .2 seconds otherwise he won't be viable. [slayer-jinx-wink]

It seems that people aren't getting it

Riot wants to see more assassin junglers played in world, and want to buff them without impacting soloq

to do that, they're buffing their ganking ability instead of damage or anything else, and this is going to have MINIMUM impact on solo queue I don't see how -20 sec cd on rank 1 rengar ult is going to do anything in solo queue

In pro play, it's going to matter a lot because Rengar can essentially not gank without ult in soloq it's so desorganised that you can just run into a lane to gank

Sad thing is, it is true, Rengar is a high skill cap champion, meant to be played as a Diver. He has been reduced into a one shot in .3 second champ

OTP Rengar main here, stealth duration buffs that was on PBE could've make him overpowered on live, but only cooldown ultimate buffs won't so stop crying about that. I'm good with the approach to compensate him by giving him lower cooldown duration instead of the straight up damage.

I think reng needs CD timer on his passive so he can't just spam it. It's an awkward looking mechanic to say the least
