The end of champselect trolls.

Hello. We have all been there where you enter champselect and someones champ got banned or someone got autofilled. The results of the scenario varies but most frequently they will probably troll pick. For example "summoner1" gets jungle as role. He was planning on playing xin zhao, but xin zhao was banned. Now he types "gg i go troll". He picks Lulu with exhaust/ignite.

This has happend to almost everyone playing league.

We are ALL tierd of it.

The simple solution is champselect "vote kick". If someone decieds to troll pick when in champselect. There should be a vote kick player button. If this is pressed the majority of people who vote yes will make it so that the troll picker is kicked and everyone is sent back to queue. The troll picker will suffer a 5 min queue cooldown.

We cannot have vote kick in this game... too many childish morons and trolls will abuse this.

You dont think for one minute that a duo Q decides that "insert jungler here" isnt META enough they wont try to vote kick? Then when it doesnt go through they wont instantly tilt, or a vote kick retaliation will be started now cause people CAN try to vote kick, but it didnt work everyone is pissed at eachother in the lobby?

Not doing it, community is too toxic for that.

Duo Q decides "fuck that guy" for whatever reason. Didnt like his pick, didnt like his ban, demanding he play a tank... whatever. They start a vote kick, and now if either of the two other people in the lobby decide they just dont want to play in a match with someone who is pissed a vote kick was started against them, or with two people who are pissed their vote kick didnt go through they hit yes and someone now has a 5 minute penalty for wanting to play Teemo top... sound like something that can happen? I hope you only play META, highest possible win rate champs, and are willing to cave to duo Q people who demand things.

I have in the past suggested many times a "dodge and report button." You will leave the lobby but also get to file a report on one or more players. It will copy the chat log for review, idealy with a screen capture. You will still have the dodge penalty, but you will get to report. I feel Riot would have to weight these reports a little bit higher because anyone who is making people dodge needs to be weeded out. This would get your lobby trolls, and wouldnt be abused for peoples amusement.

I totally see your point. But look at a game like CSGO. Sure you can get fucked by a random premade who doesnt like you. But this system should only be implemented in DOU/SOLO. Ofcourse the majority of the votes should be 3/5. And I also like the idea "dodge and report".

it doesnt matter how good the pick is or how bad it is... it maters what other people think about your pick and if they want to exercise their power to punish you for not picking what they want you to play... It isnt hard if you think about it, try thinking about it. If you cant think, then what if this happened in a lobby...

Now youre fate is up to two other people who may or may not kick you with a penalty, but hey, all you gotta do is not intentionally pick shen, or you know, intentionally pick anything youve had a bad game on recently, or intentionally not do as youre told to.

When you get kicked for picking shen... thats why we cant have vote kick, and all we had to do to avoid all the nonsense was think about it first.

I love this idea tbh, So like in solo queue there will be 3/5 needed to kick a "troller". So much LP that would be saved if something like this would get implemented!

On paper it sounds nice, but what if a part of 4 decide they don't like having a random ADC and so they vote kick?

You can't. Either it's abused or people don't announce they're going to troll.

The reports in game should be reviewed and then dealt with harshly. In normals I'm fine with a wider latitude, but if after review you're shown to be trolling, you should at least be banned from rank.

they very much announce that they're going to troll. half the trolls I see publically declare that they're going jungle janna with cleanse/barrier.

I like this idea but I'm worried about people using it to enforce the meta when someone picks something unusual with the intention of still trying to win.

I support this on the condition that something is added in that allows Riot to detect and punish players who mis-use the tool for purposes other than getting rid of trolls.

It is not BS it WOULD be abused. The better option is to have it included in the report section and implement a prisoner's island.

No, because immediately it would be used to kick anyone picking a 'non-meta' champ. Instantly abused absolutely guaranteed. Any time players are given that level of control it is ALWAYS abused without exception.

CSGO has that option and its rarely abused. So you are very much wrong.

Have you ever typed 'please report X' in all chat? I'm sure you have and this is a violation of summoner's code and absolute proof that you would abuse the system. I am very much right.

If what you propose was to be utilized, I would look up my teammates, find out which one is on a losing streak or is doing terribly, let the rest of the team know that our intended Vel'koz mid has a 32% win rate and to boot him.
