The Honor System + End Game Gifting

I wish the honor system reset every season. I'd like to know how much Honor I've gotten this year compared to the last season. Does anyone know a way to check this?

I think the end game mystery gifting costs are too high. I know riot wants to make money, but the odds of getting / sending one of these gifts have a huge barrier to entry due to it involving strangers. If it only costed 250RP to mystery gift a stranger, I might actually do it a little more often. That being said I've actually done it one time. I got into gold and gifted the Lee Sin on our team who had some really amazing plays all game long and was a pretty fun guy to play with.
