is soraka too strong at the moment?

Ok this is not my main account i have an account in G4 atm however i find soraka such a strong bot lane with not many champs that counter her besides maybe annie who have an strong burst instant engage

with the nerf to jungle damage junglers are starting to fall now we see more sustain junglers like zac and nunu who really dont contribute much damage and even less burst damage which we used to get from champs like kha

i understand sorakas weak point which is she cant reliably heal herself but if you spend all your time trying to kill the support by the time she does die the adc already done a great deal of damage and soraka just Q's back to full hp

when i play soraka i just go for HP regen/Tank/CDR and if they focus me thats great they are gonna waste alot of CDs doing it

should her heal CD be increased 1-2 seconds or increase the mana cost? im not sure about what should be done but at the moment i feel once WW gets taken down a notch people will start banning soraka

if im wrong please share what you think im really interested in learning

Soraka is in a good place right now.

Just try to put raka in situations where she can't land Q's and it's a p smooth lane.

The new Soraka is extremely annoying to lane against but I wouldn't say she is worthy of a ban.

Keep in mind Soraka damages herself simply by using W. She is vulnerable when attacked directly, but you can do a lot of damage to her without ever touching her. Her Q only heals her if she lands it.

I don't think Soraka is particularly over powered, but it depends on your team composition. She's great against a sustain lane and can be good against a poke lane (particularly if paired with a poke adc such as Ezreal or Caitlin). However, she suffers against all-in lanes.

The other thing about Soraka is that she requires more team work and intelligent play by the adc for maximum utility. If the ADC takes advantage of Soraka's presence to get more poke while taking some damage, great. If not, Soraka is going to waste. Ditto for engages. If the ADC focuses the opposing ADC, knowing Soraka will be supplying heals, kiting then re-engaging, etc, good. If the ADC flashes out or otherwise disengages too early given Soraka's ability to heal, then that is a lost lane. Just as Kalista requires the support to change their play, Soraka requires the ADC to alter theirs.
