Heimerdinger changes for 7.8?

Meddler had mentioned in one of the gameplay thoughts posts that Heimer was a stretch goal for 7.8. I haven't heard anything since. Has there been any update on that? Heim is my favorite champion, and my main, so I would love to hear what any changes might be.
