Do stunned or rooted champions take more damage?

A friend of mine has been going around telling people that champions that are stunned or rooted take more damage for example : if lux roots you with her Q and then uses her R she will deal more damage to you than if you weren't rooted is that true?

Not true. But with Lux, Your Q applies your passive. When you ult it pops your passive. This is Lux exclusive.

but her ult can set off her passive that is applied BY her abilities.

Technically no. But a champion in CC cannot avoid damage so they will take more.

I think Lux does more damage with her abilities based on her passive. Idk.

However, a long long time ago there WAS a mastery that made you do more damaged to cc'd targets. Also that used to be Talon's passive. Outside of that, pretty much everything else everyone else has said so far rings true. By nature, cc'd targets don't necessarily take more damage. Necessarily
