The fear factor of assassin champs.

I feel like at lower level play basically silver there is a lot of fear that assassin champs bring to lane. I used to play a lot of mid and would always hang back when playing mages due to these champs. Now I have noticed the other side since picking up Zed. I feel like a lot of my opponents will sacrifice cs , exp, back often giving me free roams and tower shots simply due to the "fear" of 100-0 that these champs bring. I was wondering if we could discuss the ways to combat or exploit this "fear" factor at lower tiers specifically. I can't speak for higher tier levels of play as I don't watch lcs and I am not a plat + player so if higher tier players could shed some light on if this "fear" factor exists in those leagues as well it would be appreciated.

most people in higher elos know the actual window of kill potential and how match ups go as well so there is rarely a "fear" factor. Though when i smurf people either are scared because im an assassin or plain out dont respect my damage and i kill them.

actually assassin is less fear than new bruiser (darius/garen/ska/mord)... new item is also good on some old bruisers...

some laners are very dominant kind of like zed, but i hope you dont think nerfs are needed for him :)

I dont think nerfs are needed at all he falls off late game he is just a lane bully but also an assassin which is why I used him as an example since hes the first assassin i have learned how to play. I am merely trying to gauge if the fear factor is indeed a real thing and what can new players do to overcome it, and how can other players exploit it.

Talon. Shitty earlier game unless they dont respect the cheese lvl 6. Certain mages(ziggs,xerath, other poke champs), are the reason i play him. Any mistakes on the mages side means a free kill if my cds are up.
