The death of AD carry?

I seriously think Riot has finally made the role of marksman completely irrelevant. I've mained ADC for over a year and a year ago was a fantastic time to be an ADC. Even after they made the changes to the bloodthirster an AD carry could still do something. And I'm not saying they can't do anything now I'm saying it's a WHOLE lot more difficult to. Every single patch I feel like I'm having to relearn the entire game and every time is a whole lot more difficult. These tanks are getting absolutely ridiculous Sion Chogath DrMundo . The only way to balance the role of ADC with what riot has done with the other roles would be to make infinity edge cost 2000 and have 60% crit. And Last Whisper ignore 90% of the enemy armor. AND NOW THE JUGGERNAUTS?????? Yeah no. I'm changing my role. And if that doesn't work I'm leaving the game entirely until Riot can get a grip.

I'm totally fine with ADCs being thrown out of the game for a while. Their core concept needs to be worked on. Glass cannon of sustained damage? Okay but why do they potentially outburst a Mage who's a burst glass cannon? And at the same time they're the best way to reliably siege towers and take objectives? Why? That job could easily be given to the slow mages (Brand, Vel'Koz, Anivia...) who now lack a purpose in the game.

First thing first, ADCs, bruisers and assassins should not all have access to both Crit and Armor Pen as stacking statistics like this always scale out of hand. Pick one and give it to melees, and the other to ranged, and up their base damage and damage on items in exchange if you really need to.

I'd suggest reworking EVERY ADC into an Ashe pattern where there's something in their kit that allows a form of reliable, constant and balanced Crit, (such as merging Cait's headshot passive into a single very high-damage crit, or Tristana's E bomb. Vayne's Silver Bolts could become this as well.) and remove the RNG Crits from the game. No longer allow ADCs to benefit from armor pen or %health damage mechanics, but increase it's availability to bruisers and assassins while cutting out their Crit. Then increase straight damage from items and champions.

This way, ADCs become steady damage sources with high-power times (crits) that can be somewhat predicted and worked around of while still being highly dangerous, and Assassins and Bruisers get to ignore tank's armors but have lower damage/more tankiness so they can actually fight the enemy front line if they need to.

I see the AD trinity like this; ADC beats Fighters, who beat Tanks, who beat ADCs. Assassins are somewhere in the middle but their job is different.

I will not argue that ADCs aren't in a poor spot compared to some passed times they've had.

I will argue that they are not irrelevant. You cannot have a role almost required every single game (outside of support, I'm pretty sure that role would exist anyways) and call it irrelevant. In the shits? Maybe. Irrelevant? No.

Are you playing Kalista Jinx Tristana Vayne ? Cuz if not, then yeah probably. Sivir has her strengths too but she's really more of a champ for organized games than soloQ. But uhm, those 4 adcs seem relentlessly powerful to me. Ashe and Cait and Lucian... they get fed occassionally I guess? But they don't typically concern me. And Ms Fortune is a joke.
