Blocked Queue

So as I type this I find myself waiting for my blocked queue status to go away. I got a 30 minute blocked queue because I left my last queue because a person on my team banned my champion. They declared that I was not allowed to play them because they did not want it in the game. So what other recourse do I have other than to leave the queue? I understand I was not specifically targeted by Rito and that this falls under the generalized system they have in place right now but it doesn't make this any less annoying. Just wish there was something that could differentiate the reasons for a queue dodge so that maybe the penalty wouldn't be so troublesome.

Your situation is exactly why the queue system works the way it does. It's to penalize players doing exactly what you have done.

If i ever get in a game with you, I'm gonna make sure I ban your pick. You are the reason LOL is cancer atm. One person ban someones pick because they don't want someone to play it, and then the person that was going to play it get penalized, but not the troll banning the persons pick.

Was just googling some stuff about queue errors, found this, saw this player, you know, stuff happens. Here we are, 2 persons, on a 2 year old post. Is it a coincidence or destiny?

If you are only capable of playing one champion then you probably saved your team a surrender at 20 anyways.

Jokes aside, you only get 30 min if you dodge 2-3 games in the same day which means you did this more then once and you definitely deserve it

Similar thing happened to me. i get on to play a game, and in draft someone asks to ban Blitz. so i type in Blitzcranks name, but someone already banned him. so when i clear his name from the search bar, my client froze, and kicked me from the lobby. plot twist, i ran out of time to ban and wasn't paying attention. i go to get back in the queue, and its blocked me for 20 minutes. It kinda sucks that there's no repeal process when an accident occurs, but, its Riot, and they don't care about their players, only how much money they'll spend on their skins.

By the way, screw these guys, i understand where you're coming from and why you'd want to leave. sometimes you just wanna chill and play a champion while having fun playing whoever, and some dick comes from the woods just to be toxic and bans your champion. Riot definitley needs to implement a system to punish those guys.

Just happended to me. also they say in the faq that if someone else dodges while you have low priority que it won't make you wait again which is a lie ive had to way over an hour because ppl keep dodging and it doesn't seem to effect the 5 i have so useless
