Why Riot needs to implement a better punishment system

So, after placing in silver 1, which I am not complaining about considering I was S1 last season, I have experience a harsh amount of AFK's, feeders, trolls, and extremely childish personalities. Now, usually, as Riot doesnt seem to know, trolls like to report you back in frustration and desperation. I apparently have been reported enough to be placed under and 11 game ranked restriction..I am not saying I am 100% innocent. I am simply saying the few out of line words I have used over the course of my mere 30 games this season do not warrant a ban, especially with the amount of trolls funneling down the elo ladder. Just a thought.

Here's the thing about what your asking, although yes, some people are EXTREMELY toxic others are like glass and will break even if you say something that isn't offensive. For instance I was in a game and udyr invaded, our warwick was close to death at wolves and kayle just rode past not caring. I asked her (as support) "Hey kayle, I think warwick could've used your help just a friendly reminder that you should check your minimap every once in a while. She responded with "Yeah whatever. I can't believe people like you really think you have the right to criticize me. Reported." Now I have chat restrictions.
