Any kat mains out there to give me some key tips on how to utilize her better? I always see those fancy stuff on vids but don't understand how they do it, so far I've only been lucky once to actually score a penta with her and it was in ranked and due to some very strange circumstances that I still don't understand to this day how it happened, but one things for sure I want it to happen more (or at least have a greater chance at it happening...). also why doesn't she see competitive play?

best advice for katarina is to play more katarina. i don't know how to teach this katarina's mechanics lol it'll just click as you play her more. also be audacious, she likes rewarding plays of that nature.

she doesn't see competitive play because those organised teams would save the hard CC for katarina every time, she does however get picked when her numbers are simply out of whack and no one else can outdmg her or there's no CC in the meta. what is CC, crowd control, all the things that stop you being able to play league.

Well, there's plenty of guides on Katarina online, especially from many reputable Katarina mains (try to avoid those clickbait youtubers though as they don't educate too much). Katarina is just a champion that takes a lot more skill than it seems, and knowing your damage is key, as in a team fight if you can't get a reset off you essentially are stuck and can't do anything as your cooldowns take a while to come back up, which means you will most likely die. Your entire goal in team fights is to pick off a target and allow you to get a reset, giving you time to get more daggers out to maximize your damage. Lane phase is also a bit tricky as a midlane melee champion with only one ranged spell you tend to get poked out a ton, and lose most trades unless you can get the damage from both your daggers. Knowing wave management, when to pressure, and when to back off is important for Katarina in order to survive the laning phase, and again I would just look up some guides on those.

I know it’s already been said but look at guides on YouTube and some you tubers and streamers that main kat such as katevolved kat life and flyerbek there videos should help you though kat life has a bit more videos that actually gives tips and tricks. YouTube will help you more than any one on here trying to give you advice through just texts
