Nexus Siege is new, so they're premiering it twice. URF is a tired old horse that everyone has sucked the fun out of by abusing busted champs, to the point where no one wants it back.

As this person shows very well, riot has been convinced by a very vocal minority of the playerbase that URF is unwanted. The people who like URF, such as the OP, or me, haven't made threads that are praising URF, and thus Rito has shelved the URF. Which is sad.

Urf got old really quickly. Also because of the champions that get picked most ofter in URF, games become very snowbally without chances to come back. Im looking at you xin, ezreal, and wukong. It was fun when it first came out but since then, you get flamed if you dont pick the super op champs. Urf is about experimenting and having fun, but because of the community, you are disuaded for trying new things

URF should've been random from the start. No more tryhards spamming Lucian, Zed, Evelynn, Fizz etc and now it's a test of luck. There also cannot be any URF only account because it's a once a year thing.

Basically, name it Ultra Random Fire, make it random, keep the bans, SUCCESS! No more tryhards!

It's wanted back more than solo que. Urf is the only thing over 80% of the community has been waiting for. It's the only fun part about league of legends these days

Everyone calls for URF until they release it. Then when its out, everyone calls for a witch hunt because "People keep abusing X champs" and "You see the same team comps all the time." The game mode is theoretically fun, but there ARE extremely busted champions that severely abuse the near instant CDs and lack of resources, and in 90% of the game's you see, people will always abuse these champions rather than having fun in the mode. Maybe on day one you'll see experimental teams and such, but by that evening people will be spamming Riven, Urgot, Evelynn, Maokai, and Katarina every game.

Thank you for not mentioning Ezreal. He isn't broken. Not even in urf.

I waited a week just for urf, this makes me sad. Nexus siege is pretty bad in my opinion. I would rather take hexakill(summoners rift version) or all for one. Guess I'll wait another week.
