Should the non surrender team get some LP for a remake?

While I know it's just bad luck, shouldn't the team who doesn't have the afk get at least something out of it? Otherwise, they just have a waste of time, the other team lucks out for not losing LP (except for the afk) which is perfectly reasonable. But for the other team, it seems they just get shafted. I also understand this has been the system for a while it has really hit me recently with 6 remakes in my last 10 attempted games. Is it unreasonable to think the non-remake team should get, maybe 5 LP for it?
