Help lux get out of bronze

My main character is Lux mid. I usually get good k/d ratio. I have focused on not getting killed. If all spells are on cooldown I go back so often I am the only one who survives in a team fight. This seems to upset my teammates, is there something more I can do to win? Also when I play lux support, I take kills if it seems that they are getting away, which happens often in bronze, and then again it upsets my team. Should I switch champ? who do you reccomend then? I can't play with those jumparounds like yasou/fizz/leblanc im to slow for that :(

here's your first problem, you actually think KDA means something.

try focusing on winning and gaining game knowledge because game knowledge> mechanics.
