I believe that it depends on what division you got last season, or else you would have gotten out of bronze with those games, it is much easier to win more games against a lower division, and also your MMR must have to do a lot with your placement, besides that im not sure what it could be since i went 3/7 and i got placed in silver V, lots of afk players and trolls.

so i guess Riot noticed that it was not quite fair and maybe made some adjustments. i ended gold V last season so it feels awful to climb up again although it shouldn´t be that difficult if you have already been there. ;3
