Hiya Riot and the League of Legends community! I was just wondering if you could increase the duration of Xeraths ultimate ability by at least a couple seconds? It's not a huge buff or anything. But some times I don't even get to use all of my barrages because I run out of time! And when i do get to use all of them I completely miss them all because i'm in full on panic mode that my time is running out! HALP RITO PLS. I just feel like playing a cool mage like Xerath the player should feel calm and collected, and completely focused without any distractions. Everytime I ult I feel rushed! That isn't right! Or maybe i'm just bad...

The point is to rapid fire them in predictions. Its why they give you vision on the area it lands in. It isn't meant to be held as a zoning tool (because late game a carry dies in one ult).

lol his ult doesn't need a buff at all,the duration feels like forever as it is.

... What? How to you run out of time unless you ult without a reason for ulting? Your first shot will almost always be instant, your next ones staggered a little bit, but there's always plenty of time. I don't think I've ever run out of time on his ult unless I was using it to zone enemies away.

Or maybe i'm just bad...

I'm going to go with that one.

Or maybe you need time to predict where the enemy is when they are out of vision?

Talk about not contributing

If you need time to predict where the enemy is when they're out of vision, then you should hold off activating your ult until you've got your guess ready.

You've got 10 seconds to fire your shots after you activate it, which is more than enough time to pick alternative targets if your intended target died and you've still got shots left. It's the same time that Jhin has to pick his targets, and it's more than adequate for both champions.

stop acting like an idiot, no one uses ult when no one is vision. I clearly meant when they get out of vision while in ult

and xerath has a range on his ult, sitting there and thinking is bad enough to let them escape and get ur teammates to spam ping in a dire moment

If it takes you 10 seconds to figure out where they went when they left vision, they're probably out of range of your ult anyway.

Yup! Which is why the idea of extending it past 10 seconds doesn't make sense. Adding time is only going to help people escape and help Xerath zone people away with it, it's not going to be useful for guessing where they went because the search area gets bigger with each passing second.

Maybe I'm just too far removed from the "noob" end with Xerath... 233k mastery points on him, and while there are some uses of his ultimate which aren't the most intuitive (such as pealing for allies by forcing pursuing enemies to either walk into or around your shots), I don't think I've ever heard people complain about it being too short before.
