Non skill shot champ + high reward skill shot champ, bot lane counters

So, this is the only counter whom I cannot find a way to counter. For example, a Taric and brand. Although I don't know specifically, Taric makes brand's piller undodogeble, and can cause you to get bursted down if you don't let them zone you off. If I go aggressive, I get bursted down, if I don't go aggressive, I get zoned out. I enjoy playing kalista, oand I feel that I have a good chance against any other combo bot lane except this lane. I realize that Caitlyn or jinx or any other largely ranged champion can be played at a range of safety, however, I specifically want to be able to counter these counters with kalista. I am not sure if kalista can sidestep out of tarics stun range, as I haven't seen this combo in a long time, and never tried it. I have gotten quicksilver sash and cleanse before, however, tarics cd for his q is low compared to qs and cleanse. Also, waiting till late game doesn't work because they crush bot lane early game. Any suggestions? Should I sidestep, ask for tanks, or is should I just stick to longer ranged champions for this combo?
