Not sure if this chat restriction was unfair, but seemed to be so

Chat messages such as "ggwp, gg," as well as talking about buying control words is apparently toxic. The other ones are me correcting/ responding to being flamed. Game 1 was all because a troll Lucian decided to ban my one trick simply because "he hates one tricks." This led me to do worse than usual, and I was tilted the whole game. I understand the second game, however I had a 1/14 Rakan support, and it was right before the first game. Both were extremely tilting, and I feel like it was unjust. If I recall correctly, the Lucian who was toxic all game, and was trolling me didn't get punished at all. Was wondering if this is an ongoing thing, or if its just me.

This game is honestly the worst I've ever played as far as censorship and rules are concerned. Long gone are the days of PC gaming a decade + ago riddled with trash talk some serious and some not.

I'm honestly afraid of typing anything on this game because I feel like I'll get banned for the silliest stuff.

I don't have much to add other than I feel you. You can't even defend yourself on this game lest you get punished for doing so.

You can trash talk your the enemy team, riot has no problem with this. it is when your trash talk your team, they have a problem with.

You can trash talk your the enemy team, riot has no problem with this. it is when your trash talk your team, they have a problem with.

However, most of the things I said were in response to me getting flamed.

I am rocking my second account because of a permaban, ignore it, mute it, or afk.

its not worth lvl back to lvl 30 and unlocking all champs again.

I just got a 10 game chat restriction. Still see it to be unjust. Yeah, some of the things I said were toxic, but they usually have a lot of context behind which chat logs don't show.

When you add negatives together, you get more negativity. You were punished for your actions. Tell, what does "defending yourself" do? Most commonly:

  1. You say something unreasonably harsh (Punishment worthy)
  2. You harass them back/spam all game (Also punishable)
  3. You feed the troll more negativity (Also punishable and, like, lesson #1 of the internet)

Context does not matter, you are making the game less enjoyable for those who have to listen to you. Someone trolling/flaming? Mute, report and move on

I have to agree. I don't know what the idea is behind whining about censorship, when ultimately you just want to vent anger at your teammates. If losing a match legitimately makes you angry, I believe you should take a short break to cool off before you say something you'll regret. Take a stoic response to this game and you'll enjoy it a lot more.

Exactly. I am by no means stoic, rather I just have fun. I don't do ranked so I will leave that out. BUT you literally cannot win every game, less if you one-trick a contested champ.

riot won't unban you. regardless of how irrational your ban/restriction was, you potentially hurt somebody's fee-fees :'(

This isn't really a gameplay issue, but here goes:

This is your problem - it doesn't matter why you are being negative/toxic, it matters that you were negative/toxic. It doesn't matter if you're "responding" or if you're instigating the negativity - it is treated the same. If someone else is being toxic, you are expected to either mute them or deal with it - not increase the toxicity.
