Is this the END of LoL?

Just want some feedback on this... Does this preseason feel like the worst state LoL has ever been to anyone else? I really, really love LoL, but this patch is making me lose interest in the game in ways i would have never expected.

With the introduction of insane early damage, and the focus on a meta were nothing but burst is viable, where you get one shot as a full build tank by any second champ, they also decide to remove catch up exp. Yeah catch up was bad, but if you build the game purely around early snowball AND remove catch up.... oh wow. There are no comebacks anymore in this game, no strategic depth. The best early cheese wins by default. To add to the frustration you have to vote to ff as 5 at min 15, when most games end at min 10 and there is always somebody not surrendering. So not only are all games onesided after 5 minutes, you are stuck in them till you reach min 20 and then you sit in Q and champselect for 5 more minutes, so you get like 5 minutes of actually playing for every 20 minutes of waiting.

Win is no fun anymore, cause it's not skill and marco that wins. It's cheese and picks. Every game is a stomp. No matter if you win or lose its entirely boring. Is it worth playing anymore? Is this a game where it still makes a difference if you are a better player than your opponent? Or does your bot lane feed and that means you have lost by default? Or does jarvan flash ult and oneshots you without any other spell?

Is league still fun to anybody out there who was good at this game?

I enjoy league. This isn't the end. I'm sorry you're not enjoying it.

I DON'T ENJOY THE CURRENT META SO IT MUST BE THE END OF THE GAME.

Get a fucking grip, son. This isn't even the worst preseason to date.

Unless some major changes to lengthen the game i would definitely say so.

Just waiting on the 8.1 patch notes to help me decide wether i will stay or just go to hots for my moba fix

a lot of these problems stem from catch up being removed, thats why huge poke champs are the most meta like mf and ezreal, to force you out of lane early then after that theres no chance of outplaying them when they can just shit on you when you come back and force you out again hence the burst/cheese meta, the farther behind you get the more easy it is to one shot you

Don´t think so.

I guess before every season or better say after every major change there are loosers and winners (champs).

For the ones on the bad side there is the end of LoL beginning, for the others it´s more fun.

Had some long games last few days. Cannot be that bad. I think players have to adjust their picks and then it will work as usual throughout season8.

I've been playing since season 1, every time a new pre season hits I see the same shit like "riot ruined the game, I am leaving" so I don't think this is the end.

What tank are you playing?

My full tank blitzcrank can still easily juggle 6 item build adcs for quite a while.

The best early cheese wins by default.

Not true. I can honestly say that I've yet to see a game be a completely one-sided stomp through some kind of "cheese" strat/pick/comp. Sure, I've seen games won by this, but the games have yet to be complete stomps. As far as "cheese" goes, I cannot agree to that argument as valid reasoning for League of Legends "dying as a game".

...it's not skill and marco that wins.

Also not true, as I've seen plenty of games won through skill and macro, alone.

With the introduction of insane early damage, and the focus on a meta were nothing but burst is viable, where you get one shot as a full build tank by any second champ

Personally, I don't mind the "shorter games; early burst" meta. The reason why I don't mind it is because, as far as I'm aware (and, as long as I've been playing), early game champions have almost never had a chance to really shine. By that, I mean they've never been able to say "okay, I did my job being a bully, early game and now I can carry us to victory." It's always been a case of "Okay, I did my job being a bully, early game, but now it's late game and they have items, so I can't do much anymore."

I'm sure I'm alone with this, but that's fine with me. It's just how I feel about the situation. Am I saying it's "fun" to be burst down so fast by early game damage? Not 100%, no, but I will say it's different from the usual, that I remember.

To add on to that, if you're a "full build tank" and you get one-shot, then you aren't a "full-build tank". I have never seen a "full build tank" get one-shot. I've seen them get three-shot. Sometimes two-shot, but never one-shot. But, even if a "full build tank" could get one-shot, it'd be because their build wasn't the correct build against the person they were tanking.

...they also decide to remove catch up exp. Yeah catch up was bad, but if you build the game purely around early snowball AND remove catch up.... oh wow.

Yes, I can agree that towers are weak. Yes, I can agree that catch up experience being removed was a contributing factor. But I can't say the game is any less fun (for me) than it was before.

Win is no fun anymore...

I don't know about anyone else, but winning (to me) is fun no matter how I got there.

Every game is a stomp.

Most of them, not all of them.

Is this a game where it still makes a difference if you are a better player than your opponent? Or does your bot lane feed and that means you have lost by default?

If your bot lane fed, then their opponents were clearly the better bot lane players, so it obviously makes a difference to be the better player. I mean, unless they were intentionally feeding, that's a different story. But, even still, if they were intentionally feeding, then they weren't good players anyway, because "good" players wouldn't intentionally feed. [key word there is "intentionally", in case you didn't notice]

Or does jarvan flash ult and oneshots you without any other spell?

I have literally never seen this happen to anyone that wasn't squishy. And, to be honest, if J4 ults my squishy-ass Kog'Maw (at least, I hope he's building squishy glass-cannon), for example, and Kog'Maw gets no heals/shields and STILL doesn't die, I would be more angry about Kog'Maw surviving. But that's just me.

Is league still fun to anybody out there who was good at this game?

This question seems to imply that only people who are "good" at the game can find it fun, which is just stupid. Whether this was your intention or not, it's just how it sounds.
