How long does it take for mmr to go down?

The past two weeks or so, this last week especially, every game I play I feel like everyone is way out of my skill level. Even playing my mains in normal games I get curb stomped every game before 10 minutes and by 20 it's hard to care anymore. It is to the point where I don't even want to long in and play because every game is so unenjoyable. I'm visibly dragging my team down, I'm not happy about it and my teammates have been very vocal about how unhappy they feel as well. I've tried taking a break for a couple days, I'll try to reset my mindset each game, I'll go play a different game or a different game mode if I get tilted. I keep on losing. So I'm pretty convinced I'm playing with people who are just way above my skill level. Which kinda sucks to know I've reached my peak at climbing but whatever I just want to have fun with the game again. How long until my mmr should start dropping?

its the end of the season they really let matchmaking slip around this time, ive been getting placed with and against high plats and d5s and im b2, just abuse this and try to learn more from them and go over your mistakes and how they play, i even won a couple lanes against dimonds this way, anyway it should be more normal after the preseason hits

Your mmr doesnt drop by decay or time away. Mmr is only effected by w/l.

Your LP in a queue above plat is effected by decay.

Also mmr isnt translated over different queues.
