Creating a better RANKED gaming experience - Ranked only bans

I'm going to keep things simple, ill right this up as i would an inspection report. As they "KISS", keep it simple stupid.

Observation: Ranked games, should be for people that are serious. They should be in the right state of mind. Yes, this is a game and it should be for fun. However, there are multiple game modes that you can play, if you just want to "try things out" OTHER than ranked. Ranked games should have a requirement that holds people to a certain standard. As if you "deserve" to be there to play.

**IMO Ranked should not only require people to have a summoner code of level 30 but people with NO RECENT player reports. **

FINDING: Poor ranked game experience.

Cause: Individuals that are Toxic, "feeders" (unsportsmanlike), AFKer's <-- HUGE, and a lot of report-able offenders.

Suggestion: Individuals that have X amount of reports by other players in more than 2 games games should be temporarily and automatically suspended from ranked games for X amount of GAMES not days or hours. Seems a bit "harsh"? Maybe, but it will make people think twice on how they act and play. It will change the game experience with for everyone in a positive manner.

Why X amount of banned ranked games? Because people have multi-accounts and just play other on other accounts while they wait for their time restrictions to past and fixes nothing, These reports can come from ANY game play. If you're reported on ARAM, NON-ranked ETC, those reports WILL affect your ranked game eligibility.

Example 1: ARAM Game play GAME 1: Summoner TRT - 4 reports of afk GAME 2: Summoner TRT - 2 reports AFK - 1 toxic

**Auto suspended from ranked games for X amount of games. **

Example 2: RANKED Game play GAME 1: Summoner TRT - 4 reports of toxic

GAME 2 No reports

Game 3: Summoner TRT - 3 reports of feeding

**Auto suspended from ranked games for X amount of games. **

Let me know your thoughts.

They just implemented almost exactly this solution. Pay attention.

What if people false report me?

They still need to verify if the reports are legit or not.

If the reported player has a trend, the trend will establish if its legit or not.

If one player one game reports because he hes just mad wont establish a trend. If the player reported plays by the summoner code, he most likely will never get a report.

Thats why i say in a series of games. Same report the next game by the same player would not count.

Multiple games, multiple people, multiple reports = auto ranked ban for X amount of games.

EDIT: this will help clean up the ranked game, allowing positive "try hards" to play with other positive "try hards" making it a better experience for ranked games.

But that implies there is already a trend to follow?

How many games are talking about and how do we check how legit theses reports are, you can easily hold people hostage by threatening to report them if you just are going by sheer number. If a pro player is in their game people can just all troll report the person and remove him from ranked after the game if it happens a couple times in a row.

Your using the assumption that people aren't going to use the report system themselves to troll, people already get verified from the tribunal and investigative looks-in after you report them. If your looking at a live system which does it just based on reports it's too simple to not allow false negatives.

There is always a trend. A toxic person will get reported. A person being trolled, may get trolled but not every game.

This is just an idea, i didn't formulate quantitative numbers.... Regardless, something needs to be done to clean up ranked games.

i just fear that normal would kinda turn into prisoners island then

so allow the people that don't follow the summoners code play ranked?

This process will help mold players to play by the summoners code. if they dont, they dont get to play ranked. Keeps the toxicity, afk's etc out of ranked.

It will clean up ranked automatically and then if players deserve a ban, they could get that too.

Keeps the toxicity, afk's etc out of ranked.

this is the point, if the toxic players can'T play ranked, they will all swarm the normals, makeing it hard to enjoy any non-ranked games, so it kinda ruins the game for (positiv)no-tryhard players

Riot could make a new system that says if you got X amount of reports in 5 days or something, then you will be put with other people who got X amount of reports in 5 days. This would make it so people who get reported a lot would be put with other people who get reported a lot. Allowing for people who actually want to play the game to play with others who won't troll/afk
