So I've seen it a couple times on probuilds.net, just curious.

Corkie is an adc by all means of the word, however, he deals massive amounts of magic damage. The only real physical damage comes from his E, so you'll see Corkie's building Sorc Shoes and Haunting Guises for the Magic Penetration so his abilities do more. Make sense?

If he deals massive amounts of magic damage from his abilities, wouldn't that make him an AADC (Attack/Ability). He is not an adc by ALL means of the word because he can finish you without an auto...

His passive causes his basic attacks to deal true damage based off of his attack damage. That's one. And two. His abilities scale a lot better with attack damage instead of ability power. Meaning that his damage is Magic but scales with attack damage, making magic penetration a decent item, but never ability power.

Personally, i wouldn't call it an ideal pick up. I'm not sold on sorc shoes either (although there's not always a great alternative).

I mean, Corki is dealing mixed damage, so he's hard to itemize against. I suppose if the other team builds a lot of MR or your lane opponents build early MR, its not a bad item to consider.

See ive tried building it when im in a full AD team and i know the enemy team is going to get mass amounts of armor. I looked at the damage done after game it was like 60-40 Magic-AD.
