It feels like Zed has become another one of those champions

who are completely useless if they don't get ahead, but completely broken if they do.

if he gets ahead, by the time you finish your zhonya, it wouldn't even matter anymore = ap champs crying in the corner #counterplay

but if he doesn't.... let's just say that today I saw a Zed mid who didn't win his lane(didn't feed either) got 1v1ed by a non fed Ezreal mid game and he was overall completely useless during the whole game. Is this champion really supposed to be that way? I feel like something's wrong.

Theres actually a lot of ways to deal with a Zed that gets ahead. For starters, he's god awful at team fighting. Then of course the normal summoner 3 item 3026 and item 3157 . And if you get caught out by a fed assassin by yourself, you kinda deserve to die. Wouldn't make sense if you didn't

What exactly is wrong with that? It's neither hard to get ahead as Zed or is it hard to deal with Zed as a team late.

Most assassins are supposed to be like that, because Assassins are designed to snowball the game the most. This means on the other hand, that they somewhat require to snowball the game to function best.

I understand that assassins snowball very well but I feel like Zed gets a little too oppressive when ahead compared to other assassins. He can poke, wave clear, all-in you the moment his ult is up without worrying about you killing him because of his item 3155 he bought at lvl 5-6...
