Bronze 5?

Alright I first started late last season. Got to level 30 fast and did the ranked, got silver 4 with 3 wins and 7 loses. I did again this season got 4 wins and 6 loses and it put me to bronze 5? It doesnt sound right to me, i did do this when we had the new new ranking finder for the first half of my games then half way that new ranking finder went down and I had to use the old ranking finder for teh other half of my games. I didnt take much notice of my rank when i first got it and didnt play much for a while after as i had exams. So now when I look at my rank im surprised its so damn low. This is a bug right

no, it's not a bug. You aren't experienced enough to play well in silver. You only JUST started playing. You are no where near ready for ranked. You truly are bronze 5.

Even tho i finished last season as sliver?

Ive played dota for 2 years before this, im not inexperienced in mobas

The reason the system put you in Silver the first time was because it had a high level of uncertainty as to where you belonged. Last season I put a new account through placement with a 3-7 record and it landed in Silver also. Whereas my main account went 3-7 in placements and was put in Bronze IV. The main account had more history, and therefore the system had a higher confidence in what my skill level was.

This season I went: 6-4 Bronze I 9-1 Bronze I 7-3 Silver V

on my three accounts.

It depends on your mmr. Most players below diamond got puted divisions below.

You lost a lot of game agaisnt bronzes... It might be the reason ?

its random to how far you fall during placements, there is minor skill difference in silver 4 to bronze 5, once your more experienced in this game you'll learn that. Also placements are not done through visible rankings, it's mostly done through MMR which is hidden in league and the formula for how the reset affects it is pretty much random, unless your diamond and above, then it just places you in plat.
