Can Sivir get a little love with her range?

There are pending buffs to Sivir as of the current PBE updates, however they seem to be focusing on damage output, which IMO has never been something I worry about with Sivir.

I think that if the critical strike from her W was scrapped and her range increased to 550 she would be in a great spot.

Right now the other 500 range marksmen are Lucian, Kalista, and Kog'maw. Lucian can dash multiple times and gets move speed, kalista is impossible to catch, and Kogmaw has a range modifier. Sivir currently has almost no way to trade autos against many popular ad's in lane and has to wait till 6 to become somewhat more mobile. I think if Vayne is allowed to get away with 550 range Sivir should definitely be adjusted to keep up.

You do realize that sivir is utility right? There is nothing wrong with her range. I main ADC and play her every so often and I see nothing wrong with her range. She is mainly there for wave clear hence why she has her q and w the way they are and she counters a good number of popular champs.

Main point here is, learn what she is supposed to do and dont try to make her do what her kit isnt for.

I agree but disagree as well. Yes, she has a clear play style but at the same time she doesn't have the "fear" potential that Lucian, Kalista and Kog have. Sivir is SO easy to abuse in lane, especially when she has a support that cannot zone the enemy off of her. A small range buff wouldn't break her and would give her a ton more help in lane.

Here is the problem with that. Both Lucian ad Kalista are SUPPOSED to have that potential. Lucian doesnt have good wave clear except his Culling until you reach mid-late game due to CDs and attack speed items. Kalista doesnt have good wave clear until she gets her Runnans Hurricane and even then she still needs more attack speed to clear the wave faster to avoid being caught out. Kog maw is a bad example because he is a late game utility that is hard to use due to him having to stay still with his W. His Q and R dont really do anything until you get the mana regen and damage items to go with him.

Sivir really isnt easy to abuse in lane if you play her right and build her right. And of course your support does have to help but amount of games you get a shit support dont really match those with who know what they are doing.

And just to add something here. Lucian, Sivir and Kogmaw all have the exact same range being 500 with Kalista beign the only one out of the 4 to have a 550 range. And Sivirs Q range is the exact same range as Caitlyns Q so i dont see what the problem is. And i know she doesnt have a way to trade autos like Lucian or Kalista but in the same regard, neither does Kogmaw. The only range modifer he has is his Q just like Sivir has and i dont know why the OP even mentioned that.

I'd much prefer that Riot preserves Sivir's weaknesses and instead make her strong by improving her strengths.
