Just disappointing as hell, THE elo system in normal or ranked

ok get this: i play this game for fun and for measuring my skills, but the screwed up elo system this game has, i am having some complications. You see, you are simply not allowed to have more wins than loses! If you get like 5-8 win streaks you feel awesome and succeeded, but then the game suddenly thinks:"OK, you must lose, you will never have beautiful green match history screen, i hate green!". And this sorry excuse will put you up with trolls, feeders, afks, laggers and other people in general so the game win/lose rate compared to teams is like 1-to-10, meaning that you have 10% chance of winning and enemy has like 90% chance because they are much higher ranks than you and they dont have feeders. I have read some other discussions, quite many actually, where people say how fed up this matchmaking system is, and then gold and diamond and platinum division players just respond "you deserve your loses" or "there is NOTHING wrong with the system" or "every fed game is carryable". Then tell me Fing this: how are you supposed to carry team, if you have lets say, 4 deaths and 12 kills as only good player in your team while others are around 3 kills and 15 deaths, who ignore everything you say to them, running in head first an so on, plus enemy team has like 2-3 people who have over 10-15 kills and less than 5 deaths. tell me, HOW ARE YOU SUPPOSED TO CARRY THIS?! This game is broken and it wants to make me quit this game so bad, but i dont have anything else to play :( And all forums truly are useless because those same high division players who troll and completely defuse all arguments that a person like me or someone else writes, and they don't come up with serious tips or self-experiences to support the person, they just laugh their a** off,mocking our problems. The other funny thing few days ago was that i solo queued, and i was matched up against 4 premade, who were consisting of gold II and gold I's. I actually made a new smurf account on west server because i had so much trolls and feeders on my team (and NEVER in enemy team, only mine) that i wanted a fresh start. But now those same problems have started popping up on west too, i had my first rank ever as silver III on east, but im currently unranked lvl 30 on west and waiting for a friend to catch lvl 30 too so we could start doing duo queues and maybe, JUST MAYBE be able to somewhat carry the other 3 feeders, which will probably be in our team, not on ENEMY team, and have some fun and win games...

and here is the example of those people who just mock and laugh at our problems, just have to ignore these kind of people, its not relevant if i dismissed something or not, they just try to use a diversion to push readers away from the main problems of the topic and help calls :(

I would give a real response but there are a few problems. Your original post 1) is a wall of text 2) tries to say that any criticisms from high elo players is not valid 3) you seem to be the kind of person that blames everyone else. A perfect example of the "I deserve challenger but my team sucks" mentality.

"im on a losing streak because i had a winning streak, not because im bad..." Please tell me you are joking. If you are as good as you claim to be you won't go on a losing streak. Sounds like you are tilted or bad and desperately trying to place the blame anywhere other than yourself.

The matchmaking system and ranked system are hilariously flawed. They are horrendous. In pretty much every way imaginable.

It still flawed for EVERY one. It's an even playing field. The truth is, if you can't pretty much 1v5 in low elo then you are where you belong. Part of the deal is you have to recognize how to improve the play of all the idiots, morons, and baddies you get paired with in THAT game in just a few minutes. Part of the deal is that luck in matchmaking is a factor so the sample size to reach an accurate ranking can be quite large.

Yeah, finally a normal comment! Anyways, i have tried to improve the play of the idiots indeed :D i can actually carry 1v5 sometimes but it is NOT possible when the system puts me in team with 4 people that have no rank and are level 25-30, while other team has full level 30 team with 1-3 gold division players. That is basically the only problem i have, the imbalance of teams, but i try to improve :D

In all ranked matches players must be level 30, so if its just a normal game stop worrying and just pick an aspect of the game to work on improving at. You have ZERO reason to freak about normal games bad matchmaking. Its the suck sometimes, but its just a game for fun, use that time wisely. I've got a level 15 account that already has 2200 MMR. It takes me 15+ minutes to match a game. Half the time I get mixed level teams of mostly plat and diamond players and diamonds on smurfs of their own. The other half the time I get all smurf games of 10 diamonds all on smurf accounts. Those games are always odd, some of us don't have access to runes or masteries or even summoner spells, so the games don't go like normal. They are awkward, but always they are a good chance to improve some aspect of my play that needs work and that's what I do.

Focus on you, improve yourself, improve your understanding of the game and the system, let the rest of the bs fall by the wayside and you'll be where you want to be sooner than you think.

i honestly had exactly the same problems on ranked games on my EAST account, so it doesn't matter if i talk about ranked or normal games, but the thing is, it's broken as s*** for 2 years now and nothing is changing...

I can also see those high division trolls voting down every comment and thing i say, perfect example yet again how useless the forums are when it comes to discussing and helping, voting up the comments of a person who introduces the topic that has nothing to do with the arguments in my post...Thank you, each second proves to me how predictable people are and how true my calculations over helpfullness and trolling on these forums are...It's like i get it, you don't have these problems like i have, why you have to bully on the people who do have these problems? I'm just waiting for a person who has exactly same problems as I have to find this post so we could discuss it together and MAYBE find an answer.

I'm serious here, not trolling. You can't have a conversation the way you wrote that, dismissing anyone higher elo than you and disagreeing as a troll.

Redo the thread and leave out all the "And all forums truly are useless because those same high division players who troll and completely defuse all arguments that a person like me or someone else writes" stuff. You'll be able to have a conversation if people don't think you've already dismissed them as trolls.

so i should just write all my problems, get "you suck" ; "get better"; "carry them" and all those replies, not getting any support, get demolished by those "valid" people who always vote FOR the broken MM system,not against it? might as well not write anything at all then, just as I said, all forums are U.S.E.L.E.S.S. I just thought here like HEY, i try to blame the system for being broken, but gonna try to do it in a more sophisticated manner, not like all those identical posts where all those 3 above mentioned sentences are repeated over and over again. But no, i guess i just "dismissed any rebuttals" . FUCK it, just fuck it, one person can't go against a bad company...Its not worth it. im just gonna lay low for a while, quitting the game for a month or few because im on a losing streak because i had a winning streak, not because im bad...

The interesting part is that absolutely no one in this thread said any of that. The reason everyone sides with Nami is that you are actually the one that insulted him, for no reason. He made a valid point.

Listen mate, I've been bitching about the broken matchmaking and ranking systems for 4 straight years on the boards. Four. Straight. And I've been diamond or better for almost 65% of that time. Riot never cared to listen to a word I was saying, or to implement the changes I would recommend (even though we got the champion mastery system, the first half of a system I outlined back in season 3 to help start using individual metrics to improve the ranked system. It grades you now, but it doesn't use the grade... Sigh, silly riot, use HALF my idea...) so what makes you think this is a system that will be changed?

Its broken. It is. Really, truly, honest to god I wouldn't lie to you. It is. But it does work. Just not effectively or quickly or accurately below about 2000 MMR. But it does work, and since no one can come up with a good alternative or solution, what we have to work with is the system as it is. Its equally broken for everybody else, so at least that much is fair.

The thing you have to start taking into account is HOW the system works. I've posted about it many, many, many times. You have to learn to start using op.gg to know when you get screwed in matchmaking by looking up the players on your team and just use those dodges (they literally cost nothing but time), check your MMR on op.gg and make sure you keep it inflated by managing the games you play, ignore LP at all costs out side of Master Tier and above, learn when to duo and when not to since duoing handicaps you (hint, always duo promos, never duo otherwise for climbing games for fast climbs), learn what the handicap is in promo series and how to manage it using the resources previously mentioned, stuff like this. Part of the climb is learning how the ladder works. You have to learn all aspects of the game to succeed to the highest levels, in game, in lobby, matchups, general, and the SYSTEMS knowledge for how the systems function in the background.

Just relax, work more on improving your own play, ignore the rest, and if you really feel froggy make a smurf account and one trick pony a champ on it.
