Season 7 Auto Fill

The new ranked system is decent. For Solo que u usually only see a few duos and for premades they get placed against other premades. the only issue for me right now is Auto fill. Auto fill is a sad excuse for a solution to long que times. For normal matches I understand that placing someone in a role they didn't choose is an easy fix for the que times but in ranked its a shitty fix and this is why:

1. The wait times are worth it! Although at its worst wait times could be up to 15 mins (if not more), for ranked its worth it because I would rather wait that time and have a quality match than be forced into a role I hardly know how to play. that brings me to my next point

2. Most people only know how to play 2 roles. especially at lower ranks most people only have the time and or skill and awareness of league to learn 2 roles let alone be confident enough to play the 2nd in ranked. So when a player is placed in a role they do not know how to play it can lead to toxicity. this leads me to point number 3.

3. It perpetuates toxicity. Because someone is placed into a role they don't know and don't want to dodge que due the wait time for dodging they load into the game with little knowledge of their position. This can cause teammates to become toxic when the player is not doing well despite their best efforts. This causes the team to be more toxic and touchy making it an all around terrible experience for everyone.

In ranked an auto filled player can mean the difference between a win and a loss. I understand that wait times would be very long if it weren't for this feature and there are a lack of support players out there. But in ranked i would much rather me and my teammates be given our roles and wait than be placed in a role we don't understand in a short amount of time. All and all the auto fill system is just a a way for Rito to act like they are fixing que times when in reality Auto fill is as good as a death sentence and should be removed or at the least made only for normal games.
