While playing Riven, before and after the buff to her, I still found that she is weak early game. Almost every tanky top laner does more damage then she does, even with runes and masteries I still fell victim to them. While i tested her in AI, I still got demolished. What are your thoughts to this?

She currently has a strong early game though, and OP must just suck at riven to lose against a bot.
Astôlfo1 votesEh, her first powerspike (outside of items) is at level 3 because she gains basically her full non-ultimate combo at that point. Pre-3, no one should be losing to her unless they're an idiot or have no idea how to play against her. That's what I meant by weak early.
After that, it's up to the player.

Also no, Riven's level one is among the best in the game in the top lane. Not as good as Gangplank's or Yasuo's, but much better than most.

Incorrect. Very few other champions can proc TLD as effectively at level 1 as Riven, few have as much CC and damage at level 1, no one has as much mobility as Riven does at level 1.

Level 1 Q combo: AA-Q-M-AA-Q-M-AA-Q Yasuo is number 1 most common top at the moment, matchup between Riven is a skill matchup, his base armor at level 1 is 24.7, his starting item is Doran's which gives 80 health and 3% lifesteal. Most common Seals is armor, granting +9. Armor damage reduction = damage multiplier is 100/(100+ARMOR) if armor is greater than 0. Thus, 100/133.7 = 0.747943156 multiplier. I'll abbreviate the 0.747943156 as ADR (Armor Damage Reduction) for now while writing out the equation for sake of brevity. Riven's passive does 25% AD bonus physical at level 1 per auto between abilities. 25% of 91.3 = 22.825 91.3+22.825=114.125 Q at level 1 does 10+40% AD. 40% of 91.3 = 36.52 (91.3 x ADR) + (36.52 x ADR) + (114.125 x ADR) + (36.52 x ADR) + (114.125 x ADR) + (36.52 x ADR) which equals (68.2872101) + (27.3148841) + (85.3590127) + (27.3148841) + (85.3590127) + (27.3148841) which equals 320.949888 Ignite does 70 damage true at level 1. 320.949888+70 = 390.949888. Yasuo's base health at level 1 is 518.

Rain NT1 votesyoure a troll if you feed with riven in AI. but yeah Riv is weak but I dont want her to get buffed either, the last buff was good enough. I basically switched up my wukong build from Hydra ghostblade to Trinity Force Sunfire because a decent damage+sunfire>Riven. Dont be mistaken, I may be a level 5, should be level 7 but no essence, but that Riven was a full level 7 Riven and still got dusted.
But Riven is strong if players make mistakes, wrong move, wrong time to attack, wrong item build against her. She punish sht like that, and also you need to know how to Q cancel if youre going to play riven.
