Unranked, new to league but playing in Silver 2 MMR?

I'm new at the game and have played other games, seen league before and all but... I played Ranked and got Bronze 4 BUT I've been playing with silver 2s sometimes against gold players. All my games are in silver 2 ish.

How do I make sure I play in my MMR bronze 4 and be able to see if I do indeed play in silver MMR?

When you have a game in which you have a lot of smurfs or players already experienced in the MOBA type of games, where do you put the newcomers once they start to play ranked in order to have them ruin the least amount of games ?

Right in the middle of the ladder.

So it's normal you start with a silver 2 mmr, from there you will either climb or go down depending on your wins and loses.
