Stop making this game dumber

I saw a video from youtube that Riot seems going to nerf Graves again. Right now in PBE they rework its mechanism that Graves can no longer use auto+R+E to cancel the animation of ult( cant dash forward when ulting). Just like what Riot has done to Niddle and Ryze. When Riot think a champ is too strong in high elo or too weak in low, they decide to make it DUMB. I want the old game where I can practice for a "insec kick" for hours. And I honestly don't know why Riot keeps doing this kind of nerf when they have this amazing practice tool.

Going off nerfing meta champs, you can always nerf them by manipulating with numbers---lowering ad/as, etc. But taking skills that have to be earned after practice away from this game is absolutely dumb.

wait aaRE takes a lot of skill? 0.o

And plus even if that is implemented he would still probably be strong for a long while. It's just how overloaded the champ is. His abilities give him armor, he can build ad items that give him hp(cleaver), mr(mercs, maw,qss), and free exhaust(pd), he also does a shit load of damage no matter what stage of the game he's in. Now is that healthy? No. What will rito do about it? Balance it

its not an intended part of his kit, his ult is a countermeasure to his playstyle of getting up close, so that graves cant just blow you up and still stay right next to you the entire time.

His ult is not just a countermeasure, especially now his E doesn't offer any MR. The change on True Grit makes Graves squishier and thus his ult can be used to leave the combat or dodge some skillshots. Another reason I dont think it is necessary it is because of his auto range. To make the cancellation work you have to auto first.

Also taking Riven for an example, a good riven can burst other players based on the animation cancel. I can deal with Riot making it more difficult to actually cast the cancellation but completely removing it is not a good idea.

His ult has the knockback specifically as a countermeasure, and they would not remove it if it was intended to be anim canceled.
