Can 'some' custom skins get you banned?

I use custom skins and paid for skins all the time. I know that custom skins alone won't get you banned since it's cosmetic and doesn't give you any real advantages in game, but I want to know if there is a limit to this. I've been playing off and on since Season 1 and I upload gameplay videos to YouTube so I'm not the only one who sees the skins if I decided to use them. I want to make sure I'm following the rules

So...... let's say for example, I use a custom skin that looks like Spirit Guardian Udyr and I upload that gameplay to YouTube. It's not a perfect match (at all lol), but it's heavily based on the "paid" version of the official Spirit Guardian Udyr skin. Is this enough to get me banned or is it ok because it's not the actual skin? I don't make skins so they'll never be something I created. I just like trying them out.

Thanks

Anything that modifies game files can be a bannable offense. Your best bet is to not do that. It isn't worth it for a small cosmetic that you won't pay attention to while playing anyways.

riot support says otherwise. unless the program you use to install it can also do gameplay related changes, it's all cool.

Riot do not ban you for using custom skins, however you have no control over a string of background code in the file/program that may have been left in accidentally that causes a minor change that will get you banned.

They will not ban you for using custom skins, but they don't recommend it either.

I doubt it'd get you banned. you're the only one that can see it after all.
