Some QoL Improvements and New Queues for League!

Just a few idea's i had for League that i thought would be QoL or Innovative.

CS Display:

It would be nice to be able to have a lane tracker that showed the possible CS for the lane vs how much you have. I could understand if this would clutter the UI too much so maybe it would only be good for practice (custom) matches. Possibly it could be on the TAB screen.

I just think it would be a useful tool to help people get better.

War Room:

I know alot of people would be against this since it would lengthen queues. However, i feel that having a room kind of like Team Builder after your team and the enemy team had been found for a ranked game would be nice. This would allow you to have 1min-1min 30 to discuss roles, summoners, team comp, bans, strategy. A minute thirty isn't even a long time, but i think its longer than we have now to discuss these things.

I also understand that higher ranked players have less use for this. Alot of them play together often, they have a better understanding of the game so its easier for them to discuss these things quickly. Also some things that lower ranked players would need to discuss higher ranked players would easily see the best choice as far as strategy or team comp and even bans.

Ranked teams already know what comp they are taking, what role is their teammates strengths and weaknesses, what champs are their strengths and weaknesses, who they play well against. This is all things that strangers queuing up for Ranked have no clue about each other. Which is why i think 1min 30 isn't much to ask for to try and figure it out b4 the game starts.

Also, for those worried about it lengthening queues too long. Despite the valuable advantage this gives you being permitted this time, it also would shorten ban times in lower ranked play. If we discussed who we wanted to ban, then when the draft starts it should be no longer than 10sec ping ponging back for each team in total. Also the picks should be alot faster since people know their roles already and also discussed who they may pick and who their team could use for them to play. If that champ gets banned, would be the only hold up which is already present anyway. We could also,( if it didn't take too much to implement) make a 'Ready' button much like Team Builder so that once both teams are fully Readied the Draft will begin. That way the higher ranked players can 'Ready' in the first 10-20 sec and bypass the rest of the 1:10. Making sure they aren't wasting time they feel they don't need to.

Extensive Tutorial

I feel there should be Tutorials integrated into the game that teaches summoners:

How to CS (Last Hit) and its importance How (where) to Ward and its importance How to Jungle and Gank How to Support How to ADC Objectives and their importance Team fighting goals and your 'roles role' in it. A Short Pinging Tutorial and MIA

These are all basic fundamentals of League and i think we should have some interactive tutorials dedicated to them.

Revenge Rival

This may just be completely difficult and unreasonably to implement. I understand it could possibly split queues aswell. I just think that instead of a 'friend request' i should be able to have a 'rival request'. You would be able to have a higher chance of being queued with 'rivals'.

Sure alot of this is the Ego. So i understand why some people wouldn't want this, despite splitting queues. Also it could endanger the games the rivals are in because of toxicity. This also kind of promotes that behavior. However, i feel that if one party gets embarassed they will probably 'unrival' someone, or if a rival feels they proved their point, they would 'unrival' someone. So i doubt the toxicity would be a continuous thing. Also, i have had a handful of people that me and them were at each others necks. Didn't care for each other in the least. Queued up for another match and they coincidently was in that match aswell. After that match, we kept talking at each other, and eventually we just started laughing. We were raging at each other so much that eventually when one would do something good, we had to respect it. We started praising the other on good moves and nice plays, etc. After the match we'd 'friend' and play another then dominate the next match. Doesn't happen all the time, just a possible byproduct.

Despite the Pro's (very little?) and Cons. I think its a fun, neat idea that alot of people may enjoy.

Rank Wager

This is completely a random idea that would be neat but most likely unreasonable.

If there was another ranked queue : yea...i know

And instead of them deciding who they think should win and offering LP loss/gains based on that, you as the player Wagered an amount of your LP on the next ranked match instead.

So if you have 50 LP and you wanna risk losing it all to move to your promo's, you could put 50 LP on the line and hope to win. If you are more conservative and don't mind playing safe to your promo's you may wager 5 LP a match. There may be a max/min LP wager...dunno if thats something you'd want to implement, but it may have its merits.

Series matches

I always think its fun to watch LCS and see how the games change from one to the next. Best out of 5 and it'll go all the way down to the 5th game. Thats a bit ambitious for League Normals/Drafts. However i think it would be interesting to have a Game Mode that is Series. Best of 3. You could Queue up and play 2-3 Draft games back to back and try to win your series.

I also know the cons. Split queues, extended queues, afk'ers (from game 1 or after game 2 :rage quitters, gotta eat dinner's, time for work, etc) Same toxic teammate for 3 games, trolls.

Many of the same issues in regular games but under a microscope since you have to deal with it for more games.

Again, another idea that may be more trouble than what its worth. Just thought it would be interesting and fun to play.
