The last game I played.

I went 2-1 at top before I had to go mid. Why? Because my team kept fighting randoms battles at bot and then kept doing it. And they kept losing. So I have to defend turrets. And that's the reason for KDAs score. Now when the battle finished and it moved to mid we won, but guess what happened. Rather than push mid like I was begging for them to, they just recalled and the scattered. How can I win or climb under these conditions? 3rd team today.

let them fight, and crush your lane, then proceed to take all turrets in your lane, keep doing this untill you hit the nexus

Ok so, I finally figured out how to get op.gg replays to start for me, and I watched your match.

There were some mistakes in fights, and you didn't ward, but that aside the main thing is that you spent so much time in mid. You did not have to stay mid the whole game. Zed fell behind Cait so he could've just swapped with you, but instead he went bot and top was left alone for most of the game. This isn't your fault of course, you can't make Zed go top. But did you ask him to? Whether you asked him to or not, since he didn't you could've just went back up top and had the first inhibitor really early in the game because the minions were pushing on that tower hard. A Zz'rot portal could've allowed you to push top and roam mid for teamfights.

After that, you never went for the Dragon or Baron at appropriate times, nor ping for them or ward them. You, Shaco, and Jinx killed Vayne and Thresh in bot and could've gone for the Dragon, but instead you all dispersed and did nothing with the advantage. Jinx with low health decided to push tower alone while you and Shaco left and Cait got her. You knew Cait was in the area, but no danger pings or helping Jinx get the tower.

Your CS was really really bad. It picked up later because your raw power allowed you to clear a whole wave, but earlier on your minions killed most of them. You need to work on getting all the CS of your wave; don't compare your CS to theirs to see if you did good, they just did worse. I think it's ~16 CS = 1 champion kill worth of gold.

The enemy congregated around mid occasionally which is why you probably think you had to be there, but they never pushed very hard. You in top with nobody to stop you could've pushed top much faster. They would have to recall to stop your push, and you'd always gain more than they did because they'd have to send more than 1 person; it would indirectly protect mid.

Not sure if you noticed, but they removed the reduced CD that Teleport gets when porting to a tower. You always ported to a tower so it felt like you were still expecting it, and it caused you to lose CS and you were unable to gank anyone that way.

Near the end they pushed your mid all the way in because you and Shaco went for Baron alone. Jinx (I think) was spam pinging for your help to stop Super minions. There was no way you and Shaco could kill Baron without Jinx and the attempt lost you the game.

TL;DR

  • Work on your CS. The gold is more important than you think.
  • If TP is up you can push your lane harder. If a gank that will kill you is coming you can escape with it. Even if there's no danger, you use it to get to important fights and objectives.
  • Ward more. A lot more. At the very least it'll help you split push so you can walk away or TP from ganks.
  • I suggest Zz'rot portal if you want to leave your lane for long periods of time.
  • Use pings to point your team to objectives that are open, especially right after killing several enemy champions.
  • Be aware of how fast you can kill Baron. If it isn't possible without your ADC then don't attempt it if they are somewhere else.

Not high elo but a couple of different things that maybe could have been done. Instead of leaving top, push top and grab some turrets if the enemy top laner tped bot. If you were holding mid for team you really shouldn't die. Leave turret if you are out numbered with no poke. Once your team wins fight ping the tower to say "yo lets take tower". If your team backed maybe they were extremely low? If not, it sucks but you go back top lane and keep on farming. There is generally more than one team fight in each game, so winning one doesn't automatically mean you win the game. The later in the game the bigger deal it is to push since death timers are longer. But really just need to keep farming and staying alert. Push objectives when you can. Get out of a poor situation before you die. Try and setup some good teamfights and hopefully more times than not your team will win the game and you will rank up.

This guy has been posting threads like this all day. He poses a serious looking question then argues with all the High Elo players saying that everything they say is an opinion and it doesn't work.
