Yes and NO.
you are 10% of every game.
You better make your 10% count.
If you're a weak player you're no better than any other 10% in that current game.
Don't get me confused with supporting people who think they're better than where they are.
Because I am NOT that guy.
For example I know I belong in mid diamond.
Not higher not lower.
Thats where I am most seasons.
if I don't have enough time for grinding out ranked with a friend I generally end up around high plat borderline diamond or low diamond.
(thats around 2k-2.25k mmr range basically)
I mostly solo queue but when I'm offered a duo I go, assuming the player is worth my time we duo tons of games win or lose.
Its nice to have someone to play with.
Anyway what I'm saying is, in the past 3 seasons the "good enough to carry" statement doesn't mean much since the roles that matter are adc/mid lane getting fed.
Where as in season 2/season 1 ANYONE getting fed was a major problem for your team since you didnt have -insert adc with gap closer insert mid lane with invul/gap closers- to fall back on if you were behind.
back then a jungler like olaf getting fed with his ghost up ment you had a next to zero chance getting dragons and controlling your jungle.
Now you can kite him all day kill him all day even with his ghost up because of the sheer amount of just bullshit mobility tacked on to nearly every kit.
And if its not mobility its a stupid amount of CC or utility that makes champs like j4 (who are known for their utility) look like little ants.
Have you seen thresh?
My god.
Basically one fed player doesn't end a game unless they know what they're doing and have a decent team to back them up.
Now you have people who are average getting to high elo because of this not being punished for being weak because theres possibly someone even weaker of a player on the enemy team.
It only gets worse in plat-diamond since thats where alot of the "I duoed from gold/silver this season!" players end up.
