New champ in rank games selection

Hi all!

Usually when a new champ is revealed and playable it's always perma-banned. In good or worst cases new champs in ranked are extremely dangerous. Thinking that it would be OP just because it's new could ruin games and team plays... also because other players maybe hadn't already team up with the new entry. So... instead of cover 2 slot of bans (1 for each team) wouldn't be easy to let the new champ join the champ select 2 weeks later the release? This would grant the time to familiarize with it outside rank matches and fix it with patches if needed.

I know that we have PBE server to try it early its release... but it doesn't go this way so often. What do you think?

Will never happen sadly. There are too many smurf account that will want to steamroll on stream for riot to let them down like that.

It's released into game, so it should be playable in game. If you give it a 2 week delay, you'll be dealing with the same problem just 2 weeks later.
