LP loss when teammate rage quits

so ive played a few other games that implement a system where if you lose a teammate you wont lose ladder points, does riot have any plans for league on making something like this? if a person rage quits at like 8 mins in then if you last say 10 mins after they leave then your lp loss is halved and if they dont come back say you've now lasted like 20 mins (making a 28 min game) then u wont lose any? kinda frustrating when a teammate leaves and ur already losing, wouldnt mind some kinda reason to keep trying rather than vote ff at 15 and lose all my lp when someone else quits. (and if the person comes back then it sucks to suck but u lose your lp =P) i see alot of people screaming punish them harder but i mean its not like i get to see them get punished, besides it doesn't help anyone's case much. just an idea anyway

there are no incentive for RIOT to let new players climb the ladder. They want people to all stay at silver LVL. Not to mention the fees to create a competitive team are too high for normal people to be part of and therefor no one is legitimately allowed to join in the big games.

they want you to loose LP. everyone know the LP ladder system on a 5 player team is broken and dosent work. multiple players have presented better option but they dont car. they want you low ELO. the more players they have in silver the more people will buy champ skins.

I can see abuse from this, they need to also double the loss of LP from the quitter. And if it is a duo they need to "ban the duo", not really a ban to the players, the players will not be allowed to duo for some days. Rage quit in a duo will be double LP loss + no more duo for a while.

But what if someone fed, cause they are bad and the whole teams says quit or we all going to report you. Is hard to happen but can happen. So riot needs to punish that too. I think a report from the one player with proof should be enough and the punishment for all other 4 should be worse than the double LP loss, also give the LP back for that player.

What if it was a connection problem not a rage quit? well... you shouldn't be playing with bad connection. What if it just started on that game? You need to think that your team has nothing to do with it, sorry for your loss. If you can prove that all of this wasn't your fault, you know. Ticket for the internet or light company, asking for time and explain the issue, then send this to ticket of riot... All that work, yeah they should give your LP back. Is just a lot of work, if you want to do.

Its already been stated several times that they will never implement a system like this due to how this sort would be abused

Thats too easy to abuse simply put and other games also have a completely different ladder system which in most cases does not work with league. We couldn't get get people to positional ranked without it being abused.
