Luden's Echo's tooltip is as clear as it's in-game visual effect (Not clear)

Luden's Echo: Passive UNIQUE: Gains charges upon moving or casting. At 100 charges, the next instance of ability damage you deal will expend all charges to deal 100 (+ 15% AP) bonus magic damage to the first enemy hit and summon up to 3 lesser bolts that target nearby enemies, prioritizing enemies damaged by the ability and champions over minions.

Suddenly, you try it on Ezreal for maximum Q proc damages. Q is an ability. I'm pretty sure. Didn't proc'd. item 3070 item 3070 item 3070

Solution: Either it is a bug that should be fixed or it should say magic damage from an ability.

Ezreal's Q is for all intents a basic attack that cannot critically strike. As such, it does not apply spell effects, which means it does not apply Luden's.

Luden's Echo is a spell effect (similar to Rylai's Crystal Scepter). Mystic Shot only procs on-hit effects.

It will proc on abilities that deal physical damage.

I would expect it to work with Ezreal's Q, since it is blocked by spell shields (unlike, say, Nasus' Q.) It may be some weird interaction where it won't proc on things that dont apply spell effects. Or maybe that's intentional, but then the tooltip should be clearer.

Edit:

I checked Wikia and spell shields block Nasus' Q as well, so this is in the same boat. If an ability procs Statikk Shiv it won't proc Luden's Echo, and that's probably intentional.
