Targeting Spell

Hello After being away from this game since the end of last season, I have noticed something with the game that I can not figure out how to fix it. It could be something with my settings - since I reinstalled the game - if that's the case I'd really appreciate to know what to change in them.

My issue is that I've played Malphite and Tristana, and in regards to Malph's Q and Tristanas E, I have these abilities on smartcast, and the difference is that a range idicator shows up each time I want to cast them, even though I have smartcast. If my memory serves me right, range idicators didn't show on smartcast, atleast not with these aforementioned abilities, and I find it utterly useless, since I get this kind of delay and I don't know if the spells goes off or not.

Is this a change I haven't just read of, or is it something that I can remove?
