Singed. What really needs to be done.

I want to start by saying that Singed is my favorite champion in this game. I identify with him on some weird level that I cannot really explain. He just fits for me. I love the upcoming update that you are giving him and I think that the fling adhesive tandem is going to be a fun game play element to have when I get the rare opportunity to play him.

Singed main issue in my mind is that he has no gap closer. My solution to this is to add one to his fling, but only when he is in ult. This change would keep singed relatively the same, but add even more emphasis on properly using his ult and then actually being able to get into the back line before they run miles away. I'm not talking anything huge, but more the distance of Garen's ult. Singed simply dashed forward and flips the person slightly further back than normal.

I think that this in addition to his current kit and the new mechanic on Mega Adhesive (which should also just be a changed ability on Ult IMO) would make Singed viable in a lot of match ups top lane that he isn't viable in now.

I still think you are trying to fix a problem by introducing an even bigger problem. A gap closer combined with a huge flip? What a mess that would be.

Huge Singed player here. I think all he really needs is the ability to pressure towers. If they gave him back the A.S on his ult or something that allows him to take a turret faster than a support can, then he finally has something to complement his ability to farm waves quickly. I think the flip concept is overpowered. If Singed got a gapcloser like that, it would make it difficult for champions to cc him off their carry. Most supports no longer have a reliable way to peel him off. I think there are two philosophies that riot can balance Singed around: Singed is inherently bad against any laner that can poke him down and thus should be rewarded for the risk of picking Singed by having a stronger mid-late game presence(i recommend again, something to help take turrets down. Maybe W being able to be cast on turret and amplifying Singed's damage to turret? there are plenty of ways to accomplish this.) The other philosophy can be: We want singed to have a lane phase and be able to beat ranged laners at certain power points in lane, and keep his mid-late as it is because picking Singed didn't have much risk attached to it.

He's so damn fast though. Giving him a gap closer along with his speed at that flip/slow just sounds like a nightmare.

He's just a boring laner, who just tanks and does NO damage late game except for poison....He is complete utility and farming, and he creates a boring uneventful lane in which he may even deny other lanes farm by proxying into the enemy base. He needs to be re thoughtout

I think they should change his ult even though it's a really really good ult it really doesn't fit him. I think it should be a short cooldown and more on the sustain side then the damage side like it is now. Give him like the same health regen he normally gets a lot less movement speed no dmg from the ult but make the cooldown 4-5x shorter. I would like that better but no one will agree with me probably. It will make his lane phase a lot better.

weren't they going to give him a buff if I remember they are giving him a 1 second snare after he flips a champion.
