Reveal Position BEFORE Champ Select - Needs to Happen!

This would make the game a much more pleasurable experience for everyone. You know that useless "ready" screen? Right now it serves almost no purpose. It's just the pointless middleman between the waiting room and champ select. What would make it much more meaningful is having it reveal to the players what role they've been drafted for. Not only that but if it too revealed the players' desire for that role which would come in 3 ranks, the ranks being main role, secondanry role, and autofilled role, it would become truly a vital part of the game.

So for example you're in your promo game and you see that as an adc you got your main role but you got an autofilled support on your team with you. You may want to click "not ready" in that case and wait for the match-making to give you better chances at winning the next game. In another instance you can still eagerly click ready but if you see that your jungler is autofilled you can refrain from playing a champion that heavily relies on aid from the jungle.

On the other hand if you're playing a normal game you may not even want to look at those indicators and just play with whatever the match-making system randomly gives you. This system would also make trading much easier since all players would see who got what. Right now it is all a mystery unless you start communicating which sometimes can be completely fruitless (especially in cases where there's a language barrier). For example, you picked support as a secondary role and adc as a primary role but got autofilled top. Your team-mate picked adc primary and top secondary but got autofilled support. You can quickly come to an arrangement of switching in order to get the roles you wanted!

This will also fix the issue of being forced into roles you don't want/aren't good at. Time's an finite resource and every game played on top lane makes you that much worse at playing on the bottom lane. If you want to master and get good at one lane this will be very helpful as your time won't be wasted by the match-making system throwing you around into random roles.

All-in-all this a great suggestion with no negatives and a step in the right direction. Players won't be able to abuse it because clicking "not ready" too many times will time them out as it already does currently. I hope Riot considers this game-improving suggestion or implements something similar. [galio-happy]
