Illaoi's Ult making tentacles where she was not at when she uses it.

I just played a ranked game with an Illaoi on the enemy team. She was top lane against my friend who was playing Fiora. At one point my friend dash and flash away to safety from the Illaoi. Where my friend was there were no tentacles. Then out of nowhere tentacles appear and kills him. At first, I thought he was just a bit annoyed because of the match up, well that was until I was down near the bot side jungle with my adc. My adc an I were in the jungle and Illaois appears and pops her ult. So, we just walk away from her and took it as a win. Everything was fine until as soon as we where in the bot lane near the tier 2 tower red side, my team's side. An out of the blew tentacles appear that were from Illaoi's ult in the lane. I do not have footage of this yet but, I am going to be trying to get some for you guys can see.

If you are made a vessel by Illaoi, you spawn tentacles around you for about 12 seconds.

Here's what I think happened....

When your friend's champion got "possessed" or made into a vessel (i.e., Illaoi did a successful grab for the champion's soul and was able to successfully destroy this soul copy), your friend's possessed champion was spawning tentacles as it moved. And yes, those tentacles will try and hit the champion. Moreover, those will remain on the board until they are removed by your team.
