Yasuo's Gameplay Design and Current state.

I'm an old Yasuo main and i just want to talk about Yasuo and his current state.

Okay first of all, in this season, Yasuo isn't a difficult champion to play IMO. At release, he was really overpowered and then they needed to tune him down so that you needed atleast some skill to play with him and because of that, he had a little bit more counterplay. But now, i don't feel like he is fun to play and he has almost 0 counterplay, and why? i will tell you that in this thread.

First of all, remove the double crit passive Yeah... about this, he only need inf edge and shiv for 100% crit and with that mastery that heals him on champions + that attackspeed... he just doesn't need it anymore.

2nd of all, he doesn't need even skill in this season Well, from what i see of other Yasuo players, they just literally need to_ basic attack me three times to kill me_ + he is really save behind his wind wall so he lacks** alot** of counterplay.

3rd, his god damn wind wall. It just lacks counterplay on it, and it's not like you can walk around the windwall because, he can do that too ya know... IMO, this ability is so nice to use as a Yasuo player. But** to play against it**... It's worse than release LeBlanc.

4th, his dashes in laning phase He just have too many dashes in the langing phase or if he needs to chase someone in lane, it's just too much

His kit design is really cool for the Yasuo player but it's really frustrating for the enemy.

IMO, he should have a more skill based kit design because it really fits Yasuo and he is like the only champion with such a fun kit.

My thoughts on some Yasuo balance changes, and like i said, you DO NOT have to agree with this

(Passive) Way of the Wanderer Why does he have 2 passives? 1 is enough right? especially in season 6 because he can get 80% crit from just 3 items

Overall thoughts

  • Remove his double crit chance
  • Some changes to his E
  • Buff to his Base movementspeed because of the E nerf.
  • Passive Shield buff
  • Remove his Current W
  • Crits deal 100% damage from 90%

(Passive) Way of the Wanderer

  • Remove the Crit passive. Well, he doesn't need double crit this season because yeah 3 items for 80% crit is good enough.

  • Shield buff Tip: Go look at the W first because i have some thoughts on that

Duration

  • Like 2 seconds (pre-nerf) and shield strength increased.

Why buff his shield passive?

  • He needs this because i have other thoughts on W (you will see more about that soon)

  • 100% crit Damage Yeah, because of the removal of the crit passive, it's logical that he gets 100% crit damage instead of 90%

Q (Steel Tempest)

  • Increased Missile Speed on Gathering Storm because of the E nerf. Maybe some buffs / nerfs if needed.

W (Wind wall) 3 words - Remove This Ability

Thoughts Add another spell in his kit that fits him really well ( maybe something that works really well with crit? ) Sorry to say, but i'm not really creative. Maybe if you have a new W that fits this kit really well, tell me. And i will replace this with the comment with the highest upvotes :) And because of the windwall removal, he need some more defensive stats, like that Passive buff i was talking about. Might make a poll from the best W ideas in the comments.

E (Sweeping Blade) It's a nice abilty, but really, the amount of dashes he can use is too much. And i would like to see this dash like an Ekko dash, because ekko can dash over most walls while other champions with dashes can't ( l'm not talking abiut the basic attack range increase) DO NOT get me wrong! This is a really nice ability but i think that they need to change/tune this one as well.

Thoughts Like i said, im not very creative but i had something in mind that is really nice

  • It will almost stay the same but it is not a target ability anymore and the cooldown is increased what i try to accomplish with this Because of the wind wall removal, it would be nice if he has an in-build escape so that he has a little bit a defensive and offensive abilty What the new E can do

  • Crit

  • Physical Damage ( From Magic Damege)

  • AD Scaling ( From AP Scaling )

  • it's line skillshot ( it's like the live one but this one is now a skillshot )

  • Bonus damage stack removed

  • E - Q combo still works as live :)

  • Yasuo dashes a fixed distance in the direction of your cursor Dealing flat damage + amount of bonus Physical Damage in a line ( can crit ) Cooldown changed to 8/7/6/5/4? ( <--- does not scale with CDR? ) (expirimental numbers!, can still change) from 0.5 / 0.4 / 0.3 / 0.2 / 0.1 ( does not scale with CDR )

R (Last Breath) This ult is so nice to melt tanks with alot of armor. But the thing is, you need a Knock Up to cast this. And because of my thoughts on the E - Q nerf it is really hard to land an easy E - Q combo on them. If you have some thoughts on this, tell me because i don't know what i should do with this one. (it might be the best to leave this ability to how it is ATM but we will see about that)

I would love it if everyone could share their thoughts on this and help me with the numbers and cooldowns because i'm not so creative at this :p
