Is AD becoming obsolete?

Hi well i have been noticing a lot lately that any AD whether it be fighter or ranged is becoming obsolete. Sure a select few are still doing o.k. The thing is Many caster or ranged AP are becoming super strong and/or doing many things the AD counter parts can and can't. They tank now lissandra, ryze, vladamir are some. They assassinate (fizz, ahri, leblanc) come to mind. Support annie, nidalee, morgana. i think this because if you haven't noticed lately AP or Ranged AP are now at every lane taking over champs jobs that were even made for that specific role(examples above). All of this while MR are from what i am seeing a lot more expensive than armor. Like how ADC's are no longer ADC but marksman because they ain't carrying anymore.Like many ad can attack and go ham but once in they can't get out like many AP can. Not saying AP are op or anything like that; or that i like lane locked champs but the trade off should be clear and equal ground if decide to do so. Just something i have noticed a lot lately and wondered what everyone else thinks.
