why is Riots match making trash
seriously how the fuck is this fair. i get games like this like once a week and it renders the game unplayable.

how is that matchmaking system trash? 3 of your team is previous plat/gold so whats the matter? also, it's normal so the mmr is different since everyone's trying out champs theyr not good with
Each queue has a separate mmr and while I agree that it is unfair +not so much fun, the problem is how to translate the mmr from one queue to other.
I sorta understand How it happens its just incredibly unfair and not fun.

if im not intelligent and you are, why are you silver 2 and i am plat on 2 accounts?
i played a game 5 golds vs 2 challengers 2 masters and a GM on a smurf, MMR is shit in all ques, funny part is a huge portion of league players dont play ranked, yet our games are shit in all ques
Honestly how hard is to place me against other Golds and Silvers which make up over 70% of the player base. Its like i get a 55% wr in norms and riot makes it to where im forced to lose matches.
Because it's a normal game and normal games don't have ranked restrictions. Because people want to play with their friends, right? So when you get a premade that ranges between silver and diamond, the matchmaker has to find something for that. So here it took the premade and put it against premades that's rather reasonable.

If you cant see how 3 Diamonds against 2 Plats, 2 Golds and a Silver isn't fair then you're obviously are not intelligent enough to talk to.
Except if you are telling me that the only premade i can play against has 3 Diamonds on it then you are r%%%%%ed. The Diamond Premades can at least get placed against other Diamond players. I wouldn't mind it if i at least got the same amount of Diamonds on my team
You've demonstrated both that you are not informed about MMR currently and that there's no value in continuing this topic. So that wraps things up nicely.
The ques are separate.
The reasons for this is the difference between attitude. Assuming two equal skill individuals are in a game. Lets say you vs a magic clone of yourself to make this fair on paper. One of you is on your Main. The other you Is trying a new champion because you want to learn them and get their kit.
who wins?
So, the attitude behind why some one ques for normals is inherently not as competitive. Its then a good deal less fair in its MM. Ontop of that, its a relaxed que in regards to how it does not prevent any gap for premade. Any one who plays normal with the same attitude and champions they play ranked is going to end up higher in normal MMR then you expect from their account. Any one who plays normal to learn new things is going to end up with lower MMR in the que.
Some one who goes in and spends 20-25 games on a new champion loses most of them, gets mechanics down, then once they feel good on the champ go back to ranked? Their normal MMR tanks because of that.
Throw in the massive skill gaps between friends playing as a group whos MMR values might be not just across the board in ranked (diamond W their bronze buddy) You also have their normal MMR not necessarily close to their real skill.
You might be able to up quality slightly by having Experience/Kfactor be a variable for MM, spend a bit more time trying to make Normals closer in total # of games in the que.
You also could make a basic assumption for what higher skill players should preform on average at when trying new champions, then use that to make a soft normal MMR Tether that prevents them from sinking to far away from their ranked accounts MMR when its to far of a gap comparatively, Splashing MMR basically.
Far as quality for matches both will not fix Premade issues very well for the MM. End of the day there is a Finite # of players online and looking for games. MM has to build a game.
But you get it right? Its not as competitive a que by design and intent. The intended competitive experience is meant to be ranked ques. Folks who play normals tryhard 24/7 will end up above skill because they beat equal and higher skill every time that persons playing something they are not great with. So a player decision here makes a large impact that MM cant account for.
Also, Bad news for the dudes in normal who "Climb" normals. Every time you hit a game where some one higher skill doing the same thing you run a bigger risk of seeing some one snowball out.
Normal and ranked have separate MMRs.
