Make Selected Champions unbanable in ranked?

My friend and I duo botlane in ranked. He mains Gnar and I main soraka. Yes Gnar adc. His skill level is around mid to high gold and as of writing this he has 771,000 mastery points on gnar. I probably don't have to explain to you that we're doing just fine in low silver right now. But there's always the doubting teammate. The one guy who decides gnar adc isn't viable and either locks him in the lane he's picking or bans him just to spite us. We always dodge when it happens and it's like 20% of our games. Gnar and soraka is our thing and we're very successful doing it.

So that's my sob story. It doesn't make any sense that you can ban the champion your teammate has selected. Please remove this feature. Thanks

no.

Example use: When zoe was pick or ban... or any champ that was pick or ban.

Scenario: Our last pick wants to play "insert op broken champion that must be picked or banned here" but obv the enemy team is gonna get him/her first, but team hovered him/her.

Banned. end of story.

Teammate: "waaaaa i wanted to play "-".

You were last pick and knew damn well you weren't getting that champ.

I totally agree with you. I main Veigar support, which is actually really strong in the meta right now. However, the pick rate is low and many low elo players aren't aware of how strong he is bot with the new ap items. I've had people ban or threaten to ban my one trick cuz they "don't like it."

See if I'm ever trying to do something like that I don't show my pick intent and it's not too much an issue. If they grumble or dodge it's w/e
