Players punished for having known issues..?

So it occurred to me that if a player has a known issue happen during the game, like lets say bugsplat for example, should they really get punished for it? Theres a likelyhood that theyre going to have a much worse chance of winning, on top of teamates harrasing them and the idea of that being lost time, where all they can do is be frustrated. Should they really get any sort of punishment for being afk, or any other kind that may be inflicted on them? Its like giving someone a bomb and saying "Put this down in that corner and watch it. If it goes off, were going to kill you." In any case, its certainly not a good business practice considering that these players are going to start to hate the game because theyve got a 5-10 minute wait time before they can play a game, of which they are more likely to not want to play because they can now expect to dc for no fault of their own, have a higher chance of getting harassed, having people step on them like bugs (BM'ing is a topic for another day), and have a pretty good chance of losing. (also, sorry about putting this under gameplay and balance, but i had no idea where else to put it.)

Heya!

Wew... I have some bad connection issues and sadly my ISP won't fix them, and and and the other available provider in town is worse. I reported my issues to Riot Games Support Staff, and, as suggested, I have to use WTFast and Hotspot Shield to connect to the game "successfully". I can connect now, but disconnections and lag spikes occur very often, and there's absolutely nothing more frustrating than the msg. "Attempting to reconnect..." during a fight, plus the thought that I will be punished, and of course, the trash talk during the game from your own teammates. I'm expecting to get punished for 2 weeks or probably more, since my patience has run out and I am aggressive with my teammates, it even affects/ed my real life, sad but true. I went to my provider's office and blamed them, I even yelled and screamed, they apologized, but there's "apparently" nothing they can do. I am not expecting Riot to fix my problems, but to have some consideration and compassion.

Yes, that is also a problem. I too live in an area where there is only one internet provider and they absolutely refuse to update their outaged server or something. It truely does suck when this is the case, but for riot, theres not much they can do about that. Though I think there should be a way to be able to tell if someone dcd due to bad internet. For example, they could keep track of what the ping was, and that should be a telltale sign that its not that the person just "fed and left because they were pissed". Though i'm not sure exactly what they could do, theres certainly something to be done. Ive had 8 friends quit league because they were given punishment for a known issue, and then they just didnt bother coming back for the reasons i stated in the original post.
