Mordekaiser changes need to go

I need to tell some backstory first. When I first started playing, it was right around the end of season 2/beginning of season 3, which I am fully aware is not that long comparatively to most people, but it's still a good amount of time. The first champion I ever played and truly loved was Mordekaiser. He clicked with me like no other champion did at the time. As time went on I slowly moved away from him since I became a Jungle main and fell in love with Amumu. One day I realized I needed a top champ since I just didn't have one, and a friend suggested Mord. I couldn't have been happier because it gave me a reason to go back to my original main. Since then when I go top I only go Mord and win lane almost every game with him. I play him very differently than most people however, I don't play him like a bursty mage, I play him like an AP bruiser. I build first item item 3146 for the double scaling spike to his Q and a slow. From there I build AP/tank items like item 3116 and item 3157 , and then usually just tank items like item 3065 and item 3047 to round out my resistances and get extra spell vamp healing. A while back Riot had made a some tentative changes to make mordekaiser play much more like this with his shield and what not, and I could not have been happier. Then the changes got reverted, which was whatever, because I could still play him how I liked. But now... these new changes... They absolutely destroy everything I love about Mordekaiser by trying to make him some weird replacement for an ADC. I want to say I love what Riot is trying to do by internally breaking the meta, making things different, but this just isn't the way. Nothing about this makes sense and I really hope this doesn't go through, please. I honestly will probably never play Mord again if it does. Losing one of my original favorites would be heartbreaking.

TL;DR - I love Mord please don't make him like this, it doesn't make sense, yes he needs changed in some ways but this just isn't the way.

CertainlyT doesn't give a shit about you or your long history with Mordekaiser. He doesn't give a single fuck about the tradition of the champ or that he's always been a solo laner. Nope, CertainltyT knows better than you and your many games with Mordekaiser. Now be quiet and go to bot lane and play with your gimmicky dragon ghost.

that's me without fully mastering his skills.... 2 damage items, my Q does 1.2k, my W is a life saver and engager, his E is still pretty strong, you can be tanky and still apply a BUNCH of damage. I love him more... they surrendered.

I also am a Mord player; I used him to climb out of elo b5 hell to silver 3. The changes that have been made are awful. They need to be reverted. He cant even self cast a shield in a solo lane, or cast on minions to use against ranged champs. These changes have crippled Mord. Now, he is just a soft bitch that cant sustain a solo lane. and if you think a mord will stand a chance against ranged adc's like cait, jinx, sivir... you got it wrong. This needs to be undone for the sake of Mordekaiser and my sanity. I am dismayed.

Furthermore, I'll challenge whoever the dude is to a one vs one with old mord and new mord. I guarantee ill crush this mistake you created. If I lose the fight ill quit playing league. You already ruined it for me anyway.

This new Mordekaiser is garbage. I am surprised that this change made it past a third party tribunal. Changes like these need to be evaluated by an unbais party before formalizing. The new Mordekaiser is a different champ; they should have just made a new champ called "Bam-Bam" and made him look like a Flintstone. The distruction of Mordekaiser seems merely like an attempt of make-work for some chumps to keep their jobs. In no way is this change to Mordekaiser a good thing. I would rather have my Mordekaiser back than have a pet dragon... how cheesy. I think this mistake is parallel to the Gangplank commentator theme, if not worse, and that is hard to beat.
